Tasha Nicole

Born in the south suburbs of Chicago and raised in Milwaukee, Tasha Nicole found her voice

at an early age in the adult choir of her father’s church. The daughter of a pastor, she has

been singing and performing for over 30 years, becoming a powerful force in Milwaukee’s

vibrant music and theater community. Known for her versatility, Tasha has earned a

reputation as a premier vocalist, sought-after background singer, writer and arranger, director,

and accomplished stage actor.

In 2019, she boldly stepped into her dream of becoming a solo artist, giving birth to the name

and artistry of Tasha Nicole. Blending her church roots, classical training at the Wisconsin

Conservatory of Music, and a deep love of classic R&B;, she has created a sound that is both

timeless and uniquely her own. Her debut single, Who Knew, was featured on What’s New in

Gospel 2022 Vol. 2 and went on to become the #1 streamed song on the compilation. In

2022, she released her first album, It’s Not Over, which highlights her versatility with standout

tracks like It’s Not Over, You, Colors, No Worries, and Boss. She continues to expand her

catalog with her most recent single, Special Kind of Love (released August 27, 2025).

As both a singer and songwriter, Tasha Nicole is committed to uplifting, inspiring, and

empowering others through authentic lyrics and heartfelt performances. Her music invites

listeners to break free from the norm, step boldly into their purpose, and chase their dreams

with passion. She has shared the stage with legendary artists including Najee, Chris Crain,

Dave Hollister, Michelè, Lyfe Jennings, 112, Daley, and Curtis Bannister.

Beyond music, Tasha’s love for theater has been lifelong. She has performed with

Milwaukee’s most prominent theater companies, including Skylight Music Theatre, Sunset

Playhouse, and Black Arts MKE, taking on leading roles in productions such as The Gospel at

Colonus and Black Nativity.

Through every note and performance, Tasha Nicole attributes her success to her faith, her

supportive family and friends, and her dedication to investing in others—instilling both a love

for the craft of singing and the courage to pursue their dreams.
